Being on summer break is making me (kind of) miss being in the classroom

So I decided to do a little picture tribute to my Kindergarten class... :)

Even though we had lots of fun days... laughing, playing, and doing crafts... some days were not so great... the picture below was probably one of the most difficult day .. the kids spent a majority of the afternoon putting their heads down...

Welcome to my new xanga...

I decided to start this thing again... since everyone has been moving more towards Facebook... Xanga has changed so much since I last used it...

So being on break has been good... but I've been pretty busy with wedding prep...

So far we've pretty much booked everything (i.e. church, reception, flowers, caterer, hair/makeup, cake and photography)... I could finally breathe a sigh of relief and it feels like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders... even though we got so much done... there's still a LOT to do...

Currently I'm in the process of printing out and prepping my invitations to be put together (someone remind me once again why I thought making DIY wedding invitations was a good idea...) but even though it's stressful and sometimes painful... I'm happy with the end result... I shall post some pictures of them later...

So on Monday, I went to school to find out what grade I'll be teaching next year... so on my way to school my car decides to overheat on me when I'm like 5 minutes away from school... Luckily I was able to call in and find out my placement for next year...

so next year I'll be teaching....

Kindergarten once again... hopefully this year won't be as painful as last year since I'll be starting at the beginning of the school year... but thank you to everyone who has been praying for me regarding a teaching position next year... God is Good...

Lately I've been having so many problems with my car, I thought it would be a good idea to finally put it to rest... but with the wedding coming up... it was impossible... so I decided to fork in some money to get my radiator fixed... the guy at the shop said that once I fix it, I'll be able to drive it for at least another couple years...

Even though there seems to be a lot of things going on with my car, I'm trying to stay positive and be grateful and thankful for everything that God has blessed me with...
